The newly expanded platform for planet, people and peace (P4PPP) is designed to facilitate the digital transformation necessary to rapidly and effectively respond to existential threats, including pandemics, disasters, and planetary emergencies. Additionally, this platform supports thriving communities and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals to create a healthier, more resilient future for all. 

The P4PPP aims to bring together open-access digital tools and empower communities as an inclusive digital hub for the holistic well-being of people, global peace and security, and planetary health. 

Digital solutions play a pivotal role in transforming services for the betterment of human, animal and planetary health.  These solutions are crucial in managing existential threats including pandemics and zoonotic diseases, natural disasters and environmental hazards by facilitating early detection, surveillance, diagnosis, and response. 

The digital solutions contribute to a healthier, more equitable, sustainable and peaceful planet by enhancing service delivery, empowering people and improving access to health services, enhancing environmental sustainability, and fostering collaboration among multiple partners. As the global healthcare landscape continues to evolve, leveraging digital health solutions will be essential in achieving universal health coverage, promoting sustainable development, advancing global peace and security and ensuring a more resilient future.

Most of the digital solutions listed under each component of the P4PPP are relevant to providing services for the holistic well-being of people, global peace and security, and planetary health. The People component of the framework collates digital health tools necessary for providing people-centred services for both individual and population health.  The digital solutions that support the protection and promotion of people and planetary health, as well as digital solutions for primary, secondary and tertiary prevention are collated under the Protect, Promote and Prevent sections respectively.

This platform draws upon learning from the provision of health systems and digital tools to enable a multidisciplinary systems transformation to provide integrated services for planet people and peace to secure the well-being of future generations as a global good.
